Angel Olsen was born in St. Louis Missouri and currently lives as a singer and songwriter In Asheville, NC. Olsen recorded six albums up to this point: Burn Your fire, no witness My woman All Mirrors Whole New Mess and Big Time. My mom has this gift for children. She was adopted by her parents at age 3 and looked after her from birth. I was more interested in the childhood of my parents because we're separated by so many years. She began her career in coffee bars within St. Louis during her teenage years. Then, she grew and established a network of musicians who had similar views. The singer-songwriter moved in Chicago in 2006 eventually working alongside California singer-songwriter Emmett Kelly in his collective The Cairo Gang. All Mirrors was her 2019 album which was dark and almost gothic electronica and orchestral pop. Big Time is the first time Olsen sings consciously about her queer desires. The album is her first foray into country and a more traditional-driven genre. It is understandable in certain ways.
